(Photographer > August 16, 2008)

Dave Bullock is the offspring of a photographer and a programmer. He has been shooting photos since he was in grade school. He learned to develop black and white film in his mother's darkroom. He moved on to digital photography in the late '90s, but still enjoys film photography including 35mm, medium and large formats.

Dave is a frequent contributor to Wired.com and blogdowntown, and is also a member of the San Bernardino Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team. He lives in Downtown Los Angeles and has an eye and a nose for technology related stories. He also enjoys shooting protests, concerts and portraits.

Dave is currently working on two main projects. One involves high dynamic range images of Industrial Landscapes. The other centers on macro photography of the Living Desert.

Dave has a true love for the photographic image and loves nothing more than capturing the decisive moment. He's is available for day assignments in and around Southern California and for longer assignments around the world. When he's not shooting photos of geeky stuff around Los Angeles, you can usually find him crawling through a cave, out in the desert or rescuing a wayward hiker.
